The Evora has benefited from Lotus' most extensive and fastidious development programme ever - taking in the heat of the Arizona desert, ice and snow in Sweden, punishing tracks from around the world and endless European roads. The end result? A 3.5 litre DOHC V6 dual VVT-I engine mated to a six speed gearbox, delivering 276 hp (280 PS) and 258 lbs.ft of torque, delivering 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds (0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds).
